If you are struggling to get a big G rank for your top search keyword or phrase, build a free page at Squidoo or HubPages. These websites let you create a page or pages that can rank very high for you choice of keywords. Both of these websites have a very high page rank on G so linking to your own website from these sites should not  be overlooked. You do not even have to promote the pages much either as they will be indexed quickly by G.
